Expert Landscape installations in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX

Landscape installations in Rockwall start with one real challenge: the heavy Blackland Prairie clay soil that runs through Rockwall County. That clay shifts, drains poorly, and stresses plants that are not matched to it. At Channell Outdoor Services, we plan every installation around your soil and your yard before a single plant goes in the ground. We look at drainage patterns, sun exposure, and how your property sits on the lot. Then we select and place plants, beds, borders, and ground cover that hold up through North Texas summers and the hard freezes that follow. We serve homeowners in Rockwall, Heath, Fate, and Royse City, from established neighborhoods near Lake Ray Hubbard to newer master-planned communities still building out their outdoor spaces. This company was built from the ground up on honest, hard work, and we approach every installation the same way: do it right, do it once. Call us to talk through what your yard needs.

FAQ

Landscape installations FAQ

Common questions about landscape installations in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX.

Do you install landscapes in Heath and Fate, or just Rockwall?

We serve Rockwall, Heath, Fate, and Royse City. No matter which community your home is in, we can plan and install your landscape.

Will the plants you install survive Rockwall's clay soil and summer heat?

Yes, plant selection is matched to Rockwall's Blackland Prairie clay and North Texas heat. We do not place plants in soil conditions they cannot handle long-term.

Do you handle drainage as part of a landscape installation in Royse City?

Drainage is reviewed as part of every installation we do in Royse City and across our service area. Poor drainage is one of the main reasons new plantings fail, so we address it before anything goes in the ground.

Can you install a landscape on a new construction home in Fate?

Yes, we work on new construction properties in Fate where the yard has not yet been landscaped. We assess the grading and soil condition first, then build the installation plan from there.

How do I get started with a landscape installation from Channell Outdoor Services?

Call us to talk through what your property needs. We serve homeowners across Rockwall, Heath, Fate, and Royse City and will plan an installation specific to your yard.

Will a professional landscape installation add value to my home in Rockwall?

A well-planned installation improves curb appeal and makes outdoor space more usable, both of which matter to buyers in Rockwall's competitive housing market. The key is getting the plant selection and drainage right from the start.

What customers say.

Worked with us?

Leave a Review

Channell Outdoor Services did a great job on our stone work and paver walkway. The crew was professional, cleaned up after themselves, and the finished product looks exactly like what we discussed.

We had drainage issues in our backyard for years and they finally fixed it the right way. Honest about what needed to be done and did not try to sell us anything extra.

Had them handle our landscape install and Christmas lighting this year. Both came out great and communication throughout was clear and easy. Will be using them again.
